At Quincy Medical Center for Cardiac and Vascular Care, we offer patients high quality advanced technology, compassionate care and skilled, knowledgeable staff trained in heart failure treatment, the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of other heart conditions, circulatory problems, and cardiovascular disease.
Our multidisciplinary cardiovascular services team provides advanced diagnostic tests and treatment options for patients with a wide range of cardiac and vascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmia, peripheral vascular disease and stroke. Our center also offers patients a state-of-the art catheterization lab staffed by specially trained registered nurses and technicians.
Quincy Medical Center continues to be recognized for excellence in cardiac care. The center was recognized in 2012 by the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines™-Stroke Silver Plus Quality Achievement Award. In 2011, the center received the most improved award for a medium volume hospital and honorable mention for “Defect-Free Care” from the NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Quincy Medical Center is certified by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health as a Primary Stroke Service.
In addition to our clinical services, we offer a cardiac rehabilitation program for individuals who had a heart attack, bypass, or other cardiac event. Our highly skilled staff and patient-centered approach have earned our program accreditation by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). Quincy Medical Center’s cardiac rehabilitation program promotes wellness by strengthening a patient’s heart, improving quality of life and promoting an active lifestyle.
