Holy Family Hospital is hosting “Trouble with Tobacco: How to Quit, Stay Fit and Beat the Habit Forever” on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm in the hospital auditorium. Guest speaker Diane Knight, RN, Director of the Northeast Tobacco Free Community Partnership, discusses the methods for quitting smoking and explores ways to overcome this habit for a healthy future. Understand the health risks of smoking; learn about the different methods you can use to quit; and understand how to cope with moodiness, weight gain and other side effects that you may experience during this life-changing health transition. Individuals wishing to overcome this habit and those wishing to offer them support are encouraged to attend. This event is free and a light supper will be served.
